How is a girl’s life in Tribe?

It’s safe to say that hostel seems like a no go for most parents in light of their daughter. When it’s their safety in play, there is no cutting corners and compromising. Tribe takes the oath to comfort all the mind numbing and nerving questions triggering you.

First off, Kudos to all these parents who themselves have gone out of their comfort zone to manifest their child’s dreams. You’ve taken the first foot forward and we assure you we will walk this path together with you.

We at Tribe pledge safety, comfort and security beyond everything else. Our biometric security system accounts all the in-out timings to keep your ward’s movements in check. Guest register placed at the security gate ensures all the meetings that take place with non-tribe residents. Our 24×7 security service includes both male and female guards at your disposal. If this too falls short, there is round the clock reception assistance at your doorstep. Moreover, all your movements can be tracked regardless with an RFID band, which is a necessity to use Tribe facilities.

Once the security aspect is crossed out, the next question mark pertains from a medical point of view. Tribe disposes 360 degree safety both internally and externally. Our medical kit placed at the reception covers almost any injuries in the dictionary. However, in case external assistance is required, Tribe has a tie up with Sahyadri Hospital. From a hygiene perspective, we have our sanitary safety in check. If things still seem haywire our happiness manager will dive right in to resort to any difficulties you face. Every Tribe troop knows that our happiness manager is just a call away, Literally.

Nonetheless, letting your daughter out of your sight even for a fraction of a second seems apprehending. Needless to say that we might not be able to replace your warmth, but we assure you that our nurturing is our benchmark.

In case commute query is your next pop up, don’t sweat it. Being situated in a prime location enables 24×7 transport services. In case of emergency, Tribe’s male and female guards will guide you through. If in a 12 hour time frame your ward isn’t checked in, we proceed with safety calls and reach outs.

We have a complain register placed at the reception, and we always welcome constructive criticism through our frequent feedback system to ensure that we serve you only the best and nothing else.

We take painstaking attention to detail when it comes to safety standards. Alongside this, we continually make conscious efforts to ensure a smooth transition into your new home. Thus Tribe ensures that parent paranoia is a thing in the past and rest assured we got you covered!

Road to self discovery? Hop in!

Moving away from home isn’t a stroll in the park. It doesn’t come easy at all. We all know it, and at some point in life, have already experienced it or are in the process of experiencing it.

For some, it’s an excruciating process with all the mind tabs constantly bickering with ample amount of unanswered questions. So many thoughts, emotions and feelings circling whilst battling to put a strong front for your parents. However, it is okay to let some burden off, to give into it and to experience it wholly to understand its depth. One isn’t trained for this, and one certainly doesn’t have to be.

When you dip into a new experience, always dive in with both your feet! Otherwise you’ll always discern the glass as half empty.

Thus you surface an issue, and we will cast a solution. So let’s dive in!

1.) Homesickness: Moving away from home is equivalent to starting a new life altogether. Embarking a journey based on self reliance and self discovery as most of us aren’t prepared for such challenges, and end up being overwhelmed with everything that’s thrown our way. As a result, we tend to buffer and lag in the process of adjustment. This doesn’t necessarily mean that we are weak spirited, it simply means we take our own time in gauging situations in order to understand it thoroughly and get acquainted with.

But more so everyone needs that extra hand of help from time to time whether they admit it or not. Thus whilst in Tribe, apart from your budding hoomans, we have the happiness manager, floor representatives and the management team in check to ensure a smooth transition. After all, we are your home away from home.

2.) Time management: Being in the comfort of your home means having everything served to you in a platter and always being spoon-fed always. This is parallel to putting your growth and road to self discovery on autopilot. However, don’t sweat it. Being independent for the first time may seem agonising initially, but over the course, you will discern that it has its own perks. Independence means no questions asked whatsoever and what more fun could that be?!

Moreover, you don’t have to juggle between college, work and social life alone. We’ll help you in managing your time. Whether it’s wake up calls, to preparing a timetable curated as per your needs, the happiness manager got you covered.

Once your routine is intact and your time management is efficient you will be surprised at the amount of free time in your hands. And this hurt no-one.

3.) Pressure of Studies!

Alongside the rat race, we all are aware of the massive social and educational repercussions of not succeeding in our studies or career path! And hence the steam of pressure that is built, can be exhausting to say the least. Your road to success shouldn’t be as overtaxing as people paint it to be. Tribe creates a flourishing environment for all the curious, and ambitious budding leaders out there.

Tribe’s Breakout Area is designed to give students all the necessary amenities to conduct group studies. A smart TV is provided through which one can easily access e-learning and join discussion panels amongst other hostellers. Multiple charging ports are available to ensure your learning never runs out. Apart from charging your tech, there is a breakout area is located in our on site restaurant “Mamaliga” just in case you wish to recharge your own battery as well.

Community building at your doorstep!

On the 12th of October, Tribe welcomed specially abled children from ‘Ayodhya Charitable Trust’ to spend a memorable day with the Tribe troop. This special day was filled with games, laughter and food from our round the clock on campus restaurant ‘Mamaliga’.

‘Ayodhya Charitable Trust’ is a non-governmental voluntary organisation working with the mission of fulfilling the general and special needs like health services, education, and training and rehabilitation services for the specially abled children since 1977.

We at Tribe are wholesome believers that, “There are things bigger than yourself”. Thus we leave no leaf unturned in terms of educating our troops beyond textbook learning, those values and morals that no index will outline.

Tribe’s focus on community culture enabled a lot of residents to put their foot forward to ensure these children have a hoot that echoes a lifetime. It is said that happiness was born a twin because it is to be shared, and this very saying beats within every troop living here.

This day will indeed go down in Tribe history because those who volunteered had their own learning and epiphanies about life whilst the specially abled children with their fears realised the normalcy in sharing joy and tears with those unknown.

Amidst all the fun and fiesta, the children and our Tribe troop shared a meal from our spotlight cafe, Mamaliga. This 24×7 cafe offers both local and international culinary experiences that are worth drooling for. On this day our chefs prepared a celebratory meal to digest the overwhelming feeling of glee.

To boot, students from Tribe received a certificate for being a part of the volunteer drive. This token of appreciation will furthermore engage them in community building and a new profound value for life.

Tribe, your roof away from home, an experience beyond the traditional hostel limitations, It’s a feeling, a feeling like no other. Its foundation resides in a holistic perspective to cater a revolutionary hostel experience to the youth of today. This is why Tribe leaves no stone unturned in terms of quality of the properties, amenities and services. From international standard rooms and 24×7 cafes, to top notch backend ERP systems and professional security, Tribe’s umbrella has covered it all!

Our vision and will has brought us many appreciations and applauds this year. However, this very recognition wouldn’t have been plausible if it wasn’t for the Pool Magazine and it’s attention to detail mantra.

Pool Magazine, is the pioneer to recognise Design Studios for their professional work, business practices and transparency. INDI Design started their journey by publishing POOL Magazine in 2010, with the mission of bringing Indian talent in Design, Innovation, and Art into the limelight. They seek to outline the mark makers in the competitive and hyped Design industry of today, and reward them for their outstanding expertise.

Under Pool Magazine’s umbrella Tribe won the “India’s Best Design Project 2019”. This is the third award that Tribe won since its launch in March 2019.

The jury aka granting gurus were none other than the visionaries of innovation practices. To name a few, Tarun Deep Girdher; a design educator and graphic designer at the National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad, India’s premier design institute. Nandita Abraham, president of Pearl Academy and a guest lecturer at University of Delaware, London College of Fashion and Philadelphia University. Dr. Elizabeth Tunstall, a design anthropologist, and the Dean of Design at Ontario College of Art and Design University.

Nonetheless, It is an honour to be affiliated with such a prestigious and respected recognition, especially amongst other trend setters like PayTM Money, O2 Spa Hyatt, Godrej Aer Matic and so on.

Tribe is grateful and appreciative of every iron pillar who stood rock still for this very journey and continues to do so.
